Hand pour half of the mold if you want a blended look.

Do you get a heaver foil ? Seems like regular foil would tear to easy. I have a twin injector but it will blend the colors some. If you want it with a clean line like yours then you need some kind of laminate plate.
I use regular foil and yes it does tear easy, not the best option to do a ton of baits, but if your careful it works.

I bought a pack of the ZMan TRD this fall... The baits have a textured finish on them... They market it as a finish that makes the bait look "used" right out of the package... The claim they make is that a worn bait catches more fish than a shiny new one...

If that's how your baits come out then that's how you sell them. I bet the fish could care a less.

Nice color Denny

Thanks, Lamar.  It's my take from your post re the Dirty Sanchez.  I've actually caught some fish with it.  Better yet, I blended the remelts and came up with another neat color that I call " Lamar's Dirty Little Secret".
Until next time.

Nice color Denny
All the baits I got from Denny in the bait swap were very nice, he's a lot better at this stuff than he lets on.

The side by side shot is to show the texture difference between the baits. I say it was $30 well spent.

I'm with ya DF. If you have to blow it up to see the difference then the fish won't care. The guys that are real picky with there baits then that's why they still make both.

 Thanks Lamar,
I think these molds will get a lot of new people into making their own baits and thats not just good for Do-It its good for all the tackle crafting companies.

This guy GETS it!   ;)  That's a pretty telling photo DF thanks for taking the time.

That worm you made Denny isn't a cheap job either. I'm not a fan of clean cut lines separating color and the way that worm of yours transitions from one color to another is a piece of art in my eyes.
