Lurecrafts New Location
« on: 12/29/14 16:33 UTC »
I got a new neighbor by my lake house in Indiana as Lurecraft moved to Orland, Indiana only 20 minutes from my grandmas house and decided to stop in there and to my surprise they are starting to stock Do-It products and picked me up some HD additive!!  I informed them about the new essential series molds and they didnt know about them yet but hopefully they will get them.

Thought being so close would save me a lot of money with shipping costs but I spent twice as much money being able to see every thing in person.  :o

Nice setup and real friendly staff,  its worth a visit if you are close and can pick up some Do-It products.  They were still opening the box from Do-It so I didnt see every thing they had but jumped on the HD additive as soon as I seen it.  ;D

Yes, They've always had the lead molds and several brands of other plastic molds. (Only place I'll buy a Del's mold, because I can see if it's in stock!) They have a lot of fly tying supplies and also their big line of open pour silicone molds. Once had them make me a custom mold. I thought they were still in Grainger. I'll have to get their new address. It's nice if you need a spool of thread or a certain  plastic color to just run up and getit.

I meant Lagrange. I see it's north east of there. Longer drive for me since I'm coming from Warsaw.

Dang I didnt know they were in LaGrange before that,  that would be even closer to me too because our lake house is actually in Syracuse but my grandma lives in Shipshewana and  I usually hit her house on the way in town or on the way out of town but now I have to add lurecraft to the route, but I have to decide if I hit grandmas first or lurecraft  ;)

I actually picked up a Dels mold while I was there.  I went in for a couple of colors and left without $140 in my wallet  :-X

Worth the trip,  its like walking around in their catalog  ;D  Really great to see the actual colors of the colorants too instead of looking at a photo of it.

Dewart is a good crappie lake, lots of Bass and some big northerns, but no where close to Lurecraft; or were you talking about Warsaw?

Kosciusko County has over one hundred lakes! I live on Little Chapman Lake and have approx. eight public launches on eight lakes within twenty minutes of my house! Indiana stocks approx. twelve lakes with walleye and five are a close drive to my house. Warsaw has three lakes inside the city limits, center lake, Winona  and Pike lake ( the last two stocked with walleye).

I was talking more in the Syracuse, Webster and Warsaw area.  I see quite a few lakes around where lurecraft is on the map but have never fished them.

Actually the only place in Warsaw I have fished is Angelos for some pizza  :D

Muskygary do you fish any of the lakes in Warsaw?
