Custom Molds

So I have a couple ideas going through my head and I was wondering if anyone knows where someone can get a custom mold made? It would be for plastic and I would like it to be injection.

Bears baits will cut custom molds for you but like BKJ said, it's VERY expensive. You're most likely better off to make a clay master and then make a plaster or RTV silicone mold. Very cheap alternative, especially plaster.

Contact Kevin at BassTackle.com. Pretty reasonable as long as the mold is not super crazy. I would say he did custom stuff for maybe $20-$30 over the normal mold for the first one. Then the cost is not bad.

Where the cost can get you is if you do not wnat him to sell that mold on the open market. Pay for exclusivity. All that said, someone can copy it as stated here with little effort or cost.

I had Lakeside Baits make me a mold for an old bait and I told them they could sell the mold too. I got a 4 cavity mold for $100 plus shipping and they'll sell that mold to anyone at that price too.
