current cutter mold

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a "current cutter" mold for walleye.  Its like the flat head molds but the nose is more angled.

Thanks

If you are jigging current, there is nothing better than the flathead except maybe the teardrop. My money is on, and has been for over 30 years, the flathead.

For some reason the area I am in, the current cutter is popular.  To me they are the same but customers are picky sometime lol

This picture is also in the painting forum but here is my "walleye" jig. 3/4 ounce Flathead, cast in stainless 58 pound test stinger wire with a #4 treble as the stinger. No bait ever. And the color combo shown here is my absolute go-to on the big river. I have and carry other colors but this color in this jig has caught more walleyes for me than any other bait I have used.

I'd like to see Do-It reawaken that Spearhead mold, from 1/8 oz. to 6 oz. or 8 oz., and sdd either a Barb Collar or a Wire Keeper.

Spear Head Jig currently goes from 1/4 oz. to 4 oz... Please tell me you'll be more excited about a 6 - 8 oz. mold than adding a 1/8 oz. cavity somewhere.  Is it the sizes you're looking for or the keeper.  I've a feeling that old jig was built for buck tails...

X2

I tie these by the hundreds for the 'Sip.  Wish they made this mold size specific.

You're dead-on with all of that, Mr. Sickle!  I'm a fan of 1/8 oz. so I toss that in whenever possible.  I'd like to see the Spear in 6 oz. and 8 oz., for sure, but with a Collar accomidate plastics AND fiber. Although, the current Spear mold can be modified to make a Barb or take a Wire.   Just some thoughts in the wake of this topic...
