2.5 Mo Magic Tail Mold

Been making a lot of 2 color Mo Magic baits and was wandering if anyone else wants a tail mold for the 2.5 mold. Great mold and been catching some nice fish on these baits. May be my new favorite mold. A little hard to get the tails back in all the way but working it out so far. Are you listening Jason H.

X2. I requested this months back too. In the meantime I take a q-tip with worm oil and rub it in the tail slots on one side of the mold. Makes it way easier to get them in and adjust.

With the Mo worm oil is you friend. Start the tail behind the cavity and slide it straight into the mold. Tail molds would be sweet!

I find this one of the easiest molds to put the tails back in for me since the tails are straight and you don't have to worry about following any curves. Personally, I wouldn't buy a tail mold as it's easy to shoot up 12 tails at a time and not use a ton of plastic like you do for big baits like swim shads or big worms.  Leave the baits intact until you're ready to shoot bodies, no worry about bad welds when they're freshly cut.  Unless there's 3 dozen tails in a tail mold or something to get a lot done at a time, you'll still be cutting them off of a sprue and putting them back in a mold.

Remember now....you'll still have to put those tails shot in one mold back into another, so all your beefing sort of goes right out the window. And you're not going to give up very much plastic to simply shoot the whole bait and trim. Whine, whine, whine.
