Super catch Marc, just looking at the picture makes me cold :)    Can't wait to try out some "goose turds" this spring, I need to start pouring my own lead or find a good source for worm nose jigs.

Nice fish. Have you tried the new OC power plant pier? The warm water discharge is like a fish magnet this time of year.

That power plant pier closes Nov 15th and re-opens some time in March for safety reasons.  Unfortunately it closes during the period that we would really like it open...LOL

The Milwaukee Harbor has been a roller coaster of weather..

Two weekends ago....Frozen solid.....

Last weekend....

Those are 4-6 footers "INSIDE" the breakwalls.  She was angry.... NE winds to 30 mph.

Yesterday I saw a small boat outside the breakwall. I have no idea how they got out there. It looked like they were trolling the gap. ????

The Riverfront at East National Ave is the only way to get to open water now.

In that 2nd photo from last Sunday, those are water/wave drips freezing on that railing.  They are freezing on an angle because the wind is blowing 30 mph from left to right on that photo.  Cool stuff.  The Great lakes are fascinating.

Jerry, you mention power.  There are railings like the ones in the picture out on the main breakwall that are bent from water and ice rushing over.  That's 6" heavy wall pipe....bent 6-12".  The water level is about 7-8' below the breakwall so that's probably 12+ foot waves busting over the wall.
