bat jig
« on: 03/05/15 18:31 UTC »
Ordered the bat jig mold and did what others have done and mod'd it for the #2 wacky hooks.  I'm using #2's on the 1/4, 3/16 and 1/8 jigs.  Slight dremel action on them and lessening the 35° bend on the hook to work.  The 3/16 and 1/8 are to close to pour at same time.
This pic 1/4, 3/16,1/8 and 1/8 w/ keeper.

Here is 1/4, 3/16 and 1/8 with #2's and 1/8 with #6....all dressed up.

Welcome aboard ryno.

Those are some sharp looking jigs... I may have to use that pattern for some smallie flies this summer.

Tied a few more up. That lil collar is the right size that by the time ya wrap the shank and put some flashabou on your about to the same diameter for wrapping the marabou.  Now if I can just get away to see how the walleye like em!
