why doesnt do-it offer 1/2 or 1lb sizes in their glitters?
whats the difference between 8 fl. ounce jar  compared to a 1/2 of glitter  any way ?
isnt 8 fl oz  0 .52 lbs?

I believe fl oz is volume and lbs is weight.  But I could be wrong on that.

Justin is right. I'm sure a pm to Jerry would get an answer for you Kevin but I am assuming that that since the molds are sold and made more for the hobbyist, the amount or volumes of things like glitters and hi lites and the like are sold with the hobbyist in mind too. There are plenty of places on line to buy bulk glitters though.

This is correct.

This is also correct.

Do-it is a mold manufacturer catering to the "average Joe" who is making his own baits.  Glitter and paint are also needed to make jigs and plastic baits along with a number of other components that Do-it stocks in quantities suitable for the "average Joe" or small manufacturer.  We get our glitter packaged from Component Systems, a company, owned by Do-it, that manufactures paints and pigments and also deals and works in larger quantities of those products catering to the retailer and larger bait manufacturers.

If you're looking for glitter by the pound, powder paint by the pound, liquid paints by the quart or gallon, These are the people to contact:

Ok here's what we'll do.  We will take orders for glitter by the pound and drop ship it to your address directly from Component Systems.

$22.50 per pound and you'll need to contact customer service directly to order as it will not be found at the web site.
