Glitter Change...
« on: 10/24/11 09:28 UTC »
We are in the process of changing how we ship glitter.  We had been using bags for the 2oz, 8oz and 16oz sizes, only using jars for the 4oz.  We've had a few incidents were the bags didn't hold up and it was received in less than ideal shape.  By the end of the week we will be shipping all glitter in jars.  The price of the glitter will not change, it will just all ship durable plastic jars.

If you have any feedback please let me know.

Thank you,

Jason

I have not had a problem with a glitter shipment; but could see where a bag of glitter scattered throughout an order box would be a pain.  I already have enough trouble keeping glitter off my face due to my own doing.  Jars may require a larger box as the are not as flexable in packing as bags.  That being said; I like the jars.  And will be very happy to pay a little more freight if necessary.

great idea jason!! Great change IMO!

I havent gotten glitter from you (YET!!) But I could imagine the bags would be a problem and also a pain to store for you and us, the little jars are the way to go! Easy to stack and much less likely to open up

FWIW good change on the glitter. I like your colorant bottles though. :)

Thanks.  The glitter jars will be of similar material from the same company.

I put my glitter into laminate bags once I receive it as I have pegs close to my work table to hang them on. Helps with the clutter and makes it easy to see how much flake you have left when running low.

I can see where a spilled bag would be a big mess!
