Mr.Skarlis is sagging....
« on: 05/07/15 19:45 UTC »
.....in his quest for a win at the cabelas Lake Pepin tournament. After day one in the wind on that choppy chunk of water he is listed as in 38th place in a field of fifty. A lot of the boys weighed out early....several hours early.....citing wind issues. Hopefully Tommy can find his pot of gold tomorrow. I'll be rooting for him.

Ah; wonderful tournament weather.  Beautiful practice days and crappy tourney days.

Where do you find the weigh-ins?

Tommy finished at 74. I would not have wanted to be fishing that lake today with all the wind. It's an ugly beast with most any wind. Fishing would have been pretty darned challenging and then to have a major cold front roll in over night. We lost over 30 degrees since yesterday.

My crappie fishing today was outstanding though.
