Randy Howell jig mold
« on: 06/11/15 15:46 UTC »
I was just on Do-it's Facebook page and saw a video with one of the new jigs... It is some sort of magnum shaky head jig that he was fishing a 12 inch worm on...  That jig looks bad to the bone... Details please?

SHHHHH!!!!  I can't let the cat out of the bag yet, but as Jerry mentioned previously, we will be launching some awesome new lead molds at ICAST next month.  We've been working closely with Randy Howell for the last 6 months to launch a Randy Howell Series line of jigs for this coming Fall.  He's been fishing them the last couple of tournaments with success, including a win in the 74 boat field second chance tournament on lake Barkley.

As you mentioned, one of them may be this Magnum Shaky Head Jig  ;) Stay tuned and I'll update ya'll as soon as we have more info.

What's that....about 6 oz of lead on that head? :P

That should keep a 12"worm standing up !

I surprised that Mo's lip isn't hanging from that animal.

MO, I think this jig is just big enough that with a north wind I could pitch this thing from Do-It and knock your hat off your big head while you're trying to jig up crappies on Truman?  ;)

Truth!  Pick up the hecklin' right around fall so when Jerr and I come down to push you out of your boat we can at least knock a couple birds out with one stone and have you guide us to some specks or sky carp migrating south.
