ICAST 2015
« on: 06/22/15 14:21 UTC »
ICAST is like three weeks away. I hope DO-it will post all their new stuff on the forum  for us to look at. I know it won't be for sale until later in the year, but it's nice to make up wish   lists!  :D

We're working our way through some Pre-ICAST meetings with the likes of Cabela's and Bass Pro right now.  Once some of those kinds of things have been accomplished I'm sure there will be some sort of forum "sneak peek" coming between now and ICAST.

I would like to see a shaky head like this. I believe this is a 7/16 with a 6/0 hook. It's perfect for a 10 or 12 inch worm because the nose of the worm is flush with the head of the weight allowing it to go through deep weed beds easily. This would be a design that would sell.

Easy drew is not a pro yet. And fish still can't cast a baitcaster.
Mr. Mo.
Lamar what if we take the screw lock out and add a bait keeper so the worm is right under the head.

I think that will work. This does put the worm right under the head. Maybe hard to see from the picture. I fish a lot of weeds and this head design works well. Most shaky heads leave a gap between the worm and the head and snag up easier in the weeds. The screw holds the worm in tight.

This is pretty darn close Lamar... has a 7/16 oz. cavity and I'll bet you a quarter you can get the 6/0 hook to fit in it.
