Here they are.....

....done in the 4 colors that have been trout producing colors over the years.

For size reference I have included a penny and a 1/32 head with a 1.5" Thump-It hanging on it.

Those look good!
Kinda small compared to what I'm used to making.
But great for the Lakers I'm sure.
One of these days I should send you some of my foiled cripple candy jigs to try out.
I bet they would be killer on the Lakers.

I like that a lot. Are you using white or pearl for the powder coating ? And I'm going to guess the blue is a candy color ?

The white and chartreuse are both standard powder paints from Do-It. The top colors are spray bombs of lacquer. The yellow I wish was a hair brighter but this will do and the blue is a transparent candy with a hint of pearl to it.

All of the color patterns shown get the trout, but the blue over white is my favorite and has put a lot of trout in the boat over the years.

Very nice and cleanly done!   I've thought about doing this with my walleye bucktail jigs.   Pesky northern line to swipe at em and wire would hold up better I think.   Also I'll bet with it being stiffer the treble wouldn't be as prone to come back over the jig and hang up on the mainline?

We don't see any stinger issues with the treble looping back towards the front of the jig. Adding the meat helps because it gives the treble something to be hook into to stay put but the 60 pound wire is fairly stiff and doesn't move a ton. I had the 60 pound on hand but have since ordered some 100 pound, not for stiffness but because of the fish. Big Trout tear things up pretty good if they get to rolling on the line.

Tom, You ever try the old airplane jigs and how did they work? Anybody else ever use them?

I like the airplane jig. They work well.
I wish Do-It would make a similar mold.
I know a guy who wants me to try and make a bigger version for him out of silicone for the big lake trout.

I finally got these guys finished up. There are a couple dozen on this rack and another couple dozen just like this in the boat box already so I guess all that's left is to add the trout. lol well, maybe the big lake too.
