Tried out my new brush!!
« on: 12/05/15 20:32 UTC »
I figured my old brush was just about patched and replaced all It could be so I found a super deal on a badger patriot. Boy what I nice brush!! I thought I was a Iwatta man but the badger is super easy to clean and just sprays better. Now with that said t is a spotless new brush and the ole eclipse had about 100 gallons of paint poured down her so time will tell.
I figured I needed to paint something a new pretty good so the blue gill it was. I have to say I sprayed to much paint not being use to a new brand and trigger but I think we both did well for our first go.

Nice job. What size needle are you using?

.76 is what it comes with but you can buy a conversion to smaller needle for like 10-15 buck on Amazon. I haven't tried to see how thin I can go yet but happy so far

Very nice.   Been pondering an air brush for awhile myself.   I enjoy viewing your guys' creations.

Super paint job! I use a .5 needle and find that the larger needles work easier. The .35 clog  up easy and make it hard to spray some paint.

I hate you guys that can paint like that!!!  :'(  I can brush tap powder alright but I'd love to be able to paint that way.  I'd love to do blade baits that way!!!
