I found a new channel on YouTube that I think you guys will really like. The channel name is Lure Color Studio, and they give tutorials on airbrushing crank bait bodies. He's only got about 8 or 10 videos on his channel, and I've seen them all a couple dozen times. This one is probably my favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsdHGQoPeKE

That is ridicules on so many levels.  Those are pieces of art and the video production rivals big scree picture quality.

Glad to see he uses the best clear coat finish available.  :D

Agree with all the above, anyone order from them? Prices are high, but those are the best templetes I have seen! They take paypal so it should be safe.

I see on their web page they have "Tutorials" on all their color patterns, be sure to check those out. Also got to find someone that carries all those CS Coatings type of paint. Can Do-it get them?

I'm glad y'all liked it. I also found two other channels: Lure Me In Custom Painted Crankbaits and another one called dakotalakestackle. Both of those guys show you how to make your own stencils and some of their color patterns are really nice too. So give those guys a peek of you have time.

I've Ben watching the Dakota Lakes and Lure me in just trying to get a handle on some of these airbrushing techniques. Haven't seen the Lure Color Studio stuff, though. Thanks for sharing the link. Just about to jump in to airbrushing. Probably not cranks and jerks but some other stuff that interests me. Just not a big crank bait guy.

I ordered 3 templates and they were shipped on Monday. It will take awhile for them to get here...depending on how slow the boat goes from Australia!

Check out some of his other videos on youtube....the guy is amazing!

I have been talking with Jonas and he is extremely helpful. I plan on placing an order soon I will let you guys know how it goes. Paints are not ready for the states just yet but he is working on it. Gonna try a stencil.

I have made an order. I will let you know hoe everything goes when i is received. They are one day ahead of us so our Thursday is their Friday.  Mail only works Monday through Friday. So I guess it will be mailed on our Sunday, usually 2 week delivery.
