Slick trick to painting swing head jig

Got the do it swing head jig mold for Christmas. While trying to figure out how to powder paint them with trial and error I came up with this simple solution. Had some super strong barrel shaped magnets so I stuck it to the face of my forceps, clamp on to the jig eye and position the hook on the magnet so it's stretched out. I dip in the fluid bed and hold over the heat gun when releasing the forceps to take care of paint in the eye. The hook remains virtually unobstructed of paint. Just thought I would share in hopes of contributing to you knowledgeable folks. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

Ctom, you have no idea how much pain, suffering, torment, and mental anguish I would go through just to catch a fish! ;D

I built some stands out of spinner bait wire . An arch with a small u in the top to hold the hook.  I put the two legs  into the slots of the TJ' s  curing  clamps and they hang head down.

I just heat them in my frying pan, grab them with pliers, dip, quick pass over the heat gun and I'm done.

I built some racks that fit in my toaster oven.  They are made from some angle aluminium from Home Depot with 1/4" cup hooks screwed into the metal.

I cut the metal to fit in the oven then drilled pilot holes 1" apart on the metal and screwed in the cup hooks.

If you're not curing slabs/spoons you can use the 5/16 cup hooks that Home Depot sells.  That size hook won't fit through the CC wire form eyes but will fit the JSF eyes.

If you're just doing jigs then drilling a bit larger hole (big enough for the barb to pass through) would work just fine.

I feel like I've been on death's doorstep for the past week or so...nasal infection.  As soon as I'm strong enough to lift a hook, I'm going to give Andy's tip a try.  All good tips.
