Had to pass this on for bending heavy wire
« on: 12/29/15 21:22 UTC »
A guy over on Tackleunderground posted about this and just had to pass this one on!!!

If you're a Muskie fisherman you know that finding a decent tool to work with heavy wire is almost impossible.
Look no more.  Du Bro now has the wire former for you easily bends .051 to .062 wire.

Like the guy who posted this, I'm not affiliated with them at all.  Just wanted to pass on a product.

$70.00 dollars is a little steep for the guy who only makes a half dozen bucktail spinners a year! But then I buy everything else. LOL How can I sneak that into the workshop?

I use my little blue bender for bending .051 wire (although it is not rated for that size), then I use a pair of Klein's and a screwdriver to finish the barrel wraps... that's certainly a slick unit, but kinda hard for me to justify one of those tools when I have a near lifetime supply of 'tails already made in the garage.
