ES Lizard
« on: 01/03/16 14:57 UTC »
Ok trying to think a little out side of the box here. Just bought the ES Lizard mold from CC1 and I've been thinking on how to work with the flat finish many guys are not liking. I came up with this idea and I kind of like it. I spay painted the top side of the mold and left the bottom side like it was. The result gives the lizard a glossy top and a flat bottom. Sort of like a real lizard would be plus by shooting a single color it gives you a two color look. Not sure where this idea will take me but I like it so far.

Not sure this color was the right color to show really how it comes out. To be honest I normally make my lizards in a smoked blue. I just had some CC green and made them in that. Go figure I had some of that laying around. When I make baits that color just makes me nervous and twitchy and shaky. I just can't help but make a few in it.

Good drugs bud. I get that way on a good crappie bite.

I keep my boat in the garage and my wife thinks I'm weird because I'll go out there and kiss her goodnight. I told her hey it gets me in the mood.
