Junk Plastic

Took some junk plastic today and made it into black. Then took some blue and made a few baits that will work well.

That turned out awesome !!! Usually when you mix all the scrap plastic it turns into kinda like a green pumpkin.    So you added black and blur colorant to it ?

Yes I think I added five drops of 2X black to it. When I use to fish Federation they use to give us bags of baits promoting who ever bait company. Some I liked and some I just tossed in a box when I got home. For years now I've been melting it down to make baits I like. If I can find enough of one color I like I might make something in that color but I'm pretty much down to now just adding black. I use a lot of black here in Ohio with all the muddy water so it works out well. So far I've never made a batch of black from clear plastic. Haven't needed to.
I will add if I burn a batch then it goes in the trash. Once you burn it your done. But everything else can make black.

I do the same thing with deep greens, red and a couple other deep colors.  Sometimes glitter can be an issue, but not usually.  You'll always come up with a one-of-a-kind bait.
Until next time.

And those are the ones you want to market heavily since they aren't available anywhere else!
