My 1st twin try
« on: 02/18/16 14:05 UTC »
I've had the twin injector for a short while but have had to wait to try until the weather warmed up. Its about 45 degrees outside right now so I figured what the heck and got it out of the closet and went to work. I used some junk colors for play time but even junk turned out pretty decent.

These are 2 1/2" Frys. I added some eyes to a few so they'd smile for the camera but even without eyes they're headed to my treasure bucket for when the ice departs. Looking at the tails they are split right out to the end and I like that. I've tried to pick the two colors apart but that ain't happening, so I guess I like this critter. I can see the real benefit to those who clamp up a pile of molds and do shot after shot right down the line, but for the average everyday injector too they deliver some really nice split colors. Tomorrow is supposed to be much warmer so I plan to attack this get up then.

Thanks! Not bad for scrap plastic and I can see a crappie hung up on one of these.

Nice baits Tom. I dId some small fry baits the other day with the twin and love how the tail laminates also. Looks alot better than the plate on this style bait.

Had I known you lived so close to Denver Ma and I could have changed the travel route and met up with you last Thursday. Next time around maybe, eh?

Ya Tom let me know sometime. If you drove down 63 you were less than 15 miles from my house.  I don't make it up to Redwing much anymore but I've been through Rochester a bunch of times myself.

Of coarse I was most likely in Waterloo playing with welding robots at the time.
