I bumped up the amount of the Super Sparkle to 2 about small heaps about the size of a small pea on a popsicle stick, added my uv and black flake then shot these 1 1/2" baits with a chartreuse tail. These are way more transparent in the hand but the sun absolutely ignites this mix.

They're already in the box for tomorrow's trek to the lake.
And Gary, I start with what I think is a reasonable amount in the raw plastic. In this case, 1 of the heaps. After puddling some of the cooked plastic in a frog mold's belly to get some density I decided to double up and this is what I got. I like it. I'm pumped with this one.
Playing off a violet plastic I stirred up earlier this morning for the Morning Dawn thread, I added purple and a drop of indigo to the mix then added about 2/3 of the amount of Super Sparkle used in the clear to the purple blend and popped up the blue hi lite as well. I hand poured the bellies of this 2 1/2" Fry, then shot that purple blend in to finish. One of the big factors in any of this mica powder for me is to see how well it plays when its added to color and this one is a winner but I'll cut back, way back actually, on the amount added here if I make this again.

It doesn't show well here, but with the uv enhancer, the hi lite and sparkle this purple is just short of electric. I've never seen this sort of color-play with any of the other pearling agents I've used. While in the clear it appears that this Super Sparkle used in the amount mentioned for a 4 ounce batch has "pearled" the plastic, its still clear when in the hand. If you look carefully at the purple bait in the lower right of the picture that's belly up you can see how clear the purple is yet even with a bunch of this in the plastic, also a 4 ounce batch. There's no doubt in my mind that this will pearl a plastic but I think its going to be more beneficial as an "add in" to conventional pearl were some zing is needed. The way it can be added to get a fair density yet hold onto the transparent side interests me a lot. I plan to do some serious toying with this when the other colors hit the mailbox.
