I use 12 drops of CCM Green to 4 oz of plastic for my baby bass color...no glitter.

I experiment and develop colors by using a small bait mold and tinkering in 2 oz plastic batches.  Mix - inject - inspect - add a drop of this or that - reheat - inject again - inspect and compare -  repeat process.  Take notes on what you did.  One of the things I really enjoy about injecting is "color tinkering".  If you really get a gastly color; remember; Black coloring solves all mistakes  ::) ( as long as you like a black bait ).  Set what is left of that 2 oz. aside to later use in making a bait you wanted to be black anyway.  Also, look at recipies when someone posts them.  You gain insight as to how colors are "blended".   Having a good selection of colorants to select from is essential.

Not to say my recipe is better than anyone else's, but try a 3 to 1 ratio on Watermelon and Greenpumkin. 3 parts Watermelon with 1 part greenpumpkin. OZ of plastic will very, so you have to trust your eye on this one.  Start out small like 3 or 4 OZ of plastic, go 3 to 1, if it's not a color interest, then go 6 to 2, then so on and so on. Good Luck!  ;)

I think glitter also makes a Baby Bass color look complete.  I like to add .040 Black and .008 Gold to Watermelon and Baby Bass - 3:1.  Something new I've started adding is a couple drops of gold smoke as well.  Give a little gold shimmer like a Bass has - looks real good over the green.

Have you looked through the gallery and seen any greens you like.  Most are happy to help others with their colors.

If you look under the colorants there are a handful that start with "Pearl" ...  They are colorants with mica (pearlescent) already added to them.  Mayfly is the same way.  They make it pretty easy to get a cool effect on a bait.  Nothing you couldn't do on your own, but it makes it pretty easy with minimal risk of adding to much.

This bait was made using pearl on the bottom, pearl blue, green and gold on top.

thanks everyone,  i spent another half day in the garage and got it.  i could not get the sheen on it but i have some auto pearl powers and found a moss green added it and bam it looks great.  i will post a pic as soon as i get some.  i have a whole box of these old powders that are no longer used never thought to use them.  im very new to all of this.  now it looks like i have a whole winter of playing to do.
