Just get two injectors.

I already have 7 injectors...4-4 oz...1-9.5oz...1-Basstackle Twininjector.  When things are really poppin' all the injectors are being used concurrently.  Going broke just buying O-Rings.

I wish Do-It would come up with their own version of a Shooting Star system.  I'd stand in line to buy it.
Until next time.

That's not bad; CTom. Can't go fishing, go to church, or , should we go to church, then go fishing and bait making?

I agree Gary, but Carole and I have been run tagged over the last week so we opted to stay back and catch some extra rest. 2000+ miles of travel then a day in San Fransisco with Denny and his bride have us run ragged.

I'm sitting here drinking Denny's coffee and watching Blabk-tailed deer walk past the driveway about 20 feet away. One big buck, a doe and a smaller one.

This is all good advice, guys.  I've been pouring for a lot of years and it never occurred to me to change out the nozzle when it gets supper hot.  Thanks, Lemar.  One thing that I usually do when making that first injection with hot plastic is to take off the plastic around the nozzle and pull out the already cooled plastic from the nozzle.  It only takes a few seconds and allows you to start injecting with a clean, unobstructed injector.

Maybe, I am missing something.  How does changing a nozzle when it gets hot help the problem of plastic cooling off/congealing in the nozzle?

I shot the molds. Then shot what ever plastic is left in the injector back into the cup. You could wait till the nozzle is cooled off or just replace it. Clean out the mold. Then reshot the mold.
