3.5" Toad...Goblin color

http://www.caneycreekmolds.net/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=398

5-6 oz.s (Hot) Green Opal Minner (didn't check quantity when cold)
2 Pinches CCM .040" Black flake
2 Pinches CCM .040" Copper flake

After receiving my 1st lesson on Laminates, when starting the Green Opal Minner color, I started the "Laminates..." thread in a "slight tiffy".  After getting a few rounds of the Green Opal Minner lam's right enough, I ended up heating the mix a little longer than I should have...I went 45 seconds when it should have been 15-20 seconds...scorched/yellowed.

With the scorching, I think a little of the Green came off of the Moss Green flake, then the Plastic took on a combination of Green and Yellow...AND some of the Opal flakes lost all of their color and were left just Milky White...that's where the White flake comes from.  I thought a minute...Frog!  Saw the 40 Gauge Copper flake...PinchPinch.  40 Gauge Black flake...PinchPinch.  I shot 4 Toads.  Silver Eyes...on.  Then I dipped/sealed them, only dipping to the front of the Top Hook Channel, leaving the Body thinner and leaving the Body's Texture.

I would of never had guest that that was the same color. Amazing how it changes in a bait. ;)

Roger on'nat, Dave, Bro!  It was almost HeartBreaking to open the microwave and see the darkened plastic and all the flake sunk to the bottom!   :o    :-X  Goblin wouldn't be too hard to duplicate, tho.  If You have the right flake, just cook it about 30 seconds longer than You think it should...:D

But, looking at it and thinking about it, one could probably get plenty close to this "Goblin" color (minus the white flake) by using Watermelon colorant, then Copper and Black flake.

Another aspect I took into consideration when I dipped these only to the Front of the Top Hook Channel (or the back of the Brow) is the less plastic there is in the body, the more freedom the hook has to perform on the hook-set.  By dipping this way, it's not as Slick and Good Looking, but it's more "high performance", IMHO...while sealing the eyes in.
Just another $0.02.

Still thinking on other ways to get the Goblin color more easily...what about things that aren't "meant" for plastic?  Things that shouldn't have moisture in them.  My main thought...Bread Crumbs...for the "White" flake that used to be Opal, but was burnt upon scorching.  Salt is not "oil soluble", so it "stands" in plastic.  Or maybe that's it?  Salt...for the White.

Or would Bread Crumbs contain even trace-amounts of moisture?  Would they add bubbles?  A little Watermelon colorant, Copper & Black flake...and some Food.  I wonder if Bread Crumbs would help plastic float?  They're more Opaque, so that would limit their use...unless they'd clear up a bit when they were saturated.  I think this is worth looking into...

I think bread has water in it so that may give you fits. Why not just use white flake?

Also, a tiny amount of green crayon or candle coloring will give you that color also.

I think just using watermelon or amber green might be best still though...

I have plenty Opal flake, but it's not quite the same as the Plain White flake it turned into.  Is there a White flake available somewhere?  I'm just trying to get some other options "to the table"...there were a few that seemed to like this color, but how I obtained it, I don't think is quite as interesting.  I'm probably making a much bigger deal out of it than is necessary, also... ::)
