New Baits
« on: 01/06/11 11:41 UTC »
I've received several inquires about the new molds coming out.  I wanted to let you know what is complete and that I will do my best to get them all on the site by the end of next weekend at the latest.  We just need pictures, descriptions and I want to build up a little inventory before we put them out for sale.  Below is the list:

1) MD3XL Open Pour - very cool and easy open pour

2) MD3 SC (Super Chunk) Open Pour - very easy pour - great trailer

3) Mad Dad 5 XC - Body is smaller like the MD4 but has big claws like the MD5

4) Mad Dad 5 XC Open Pour - Body is smaller like the MD4 but has big claws like the MD5

5) Boss Hog 5.5" - This is like the Grand Daddy of the Boss Hog - should be a killer "Big Bass" bait!

6) Tube Zilla - 4.5" Super Ribbed Tube designed specifically for bed fishing but I've also had good luck with it deep this winter

7) Berry Bug 4.5" (1 and 2 cavity) - Bug style body with flappers and twin grub tales.  Will be an excellent flipping
bait and can be used like a swim bait

8) Baby Berry 3.5" - Bug style body with flappers and twin grub tales.  Will be an excellent flipping bait and can be used like a swim bait

9) 4" Carrot (4 cavity) - It just flat out catches fish.  I guess it's most like a stick bait but I honestly think it's more productive.  It can also be used as a jerk bait, Carolina rigged, on a shaky head, drop shot, split shot or wacky.  Super versatile...

10) 5" Carrot (4 cavity)

11) 6" Carrot (4 cavity)

12) Jerk Bait 5" (4 cavity) - I am down to one final cosmetic tweak of the mold.  This is going to knock your socks off.  The baits are vertical in the mold so doing laminates by hand or injector will be a snap.  It has a hook slot and place for eyes.  This should quickly become a best seller.

There are several others in various stages of testing but this is what's complete and ready.

Every single one of these of these baits have been by request or had your input.  I believe they are better baits because of it.  Keep the feedback coming!

Thank you for your patience.

Tight lines!

Jason

Here's a pic Ted.  You are going to have to wait on the others.  I will do a short video of the action it has because it's pretty awesome for a do nothing bait - very similar to the Carrot.

5", 4 Cavity, $89.50.

Tight lines.

Here's a couple that are three colors.  I just hand poured the red in all of them.  The darkest one I poured by hand and injected the top.  The lighter ones I used a laminate injector.  Sorry for the shadows and photo quality.  I'm using my phone as my wife has the camera...

Yes, those are all baits from the same mold, same injection.  The only one that isn't is the one with the white belly, I hand poured a set to see how they came out.  This was my first attempt, it was easy.  Either way I think with minimal practice impressive baits can be made.
