I haven't seen the mold in person and I'mm wondering if the legs are on both sides of the mold or just one? I can see a lamation for a bottom and leg color and a darker top.

Both sides. But the vents are only on the top side.

I just opened the mold up and cannot believe the detail in it. I mean FINE detail. I can't wait for this mold to thaw out.

I think you are going to have a great time with your hand pour techniques on this mold!

Oh boy....been studying this mold. First thing I'll be doing, tonight yet, is to cut a tin plate to split the bait. Then things will take off. That color scheme Jordan used to introduce this guy is a nice, nice color and I think I need some of these shot up just like that to sample out. But then I can see this bait like Andy almost suggested....with some racing stripes. All this thought is just not good. lol

That was quick....plate is done and ready for tomorrow. Carole is away at a daughter's until Monday so I have nothing but time on my hands. I need to cook up some more of the Ice Ticklers and then I plan to run some plastic thru this mold with and without the plate. The twin injector is going to love this mold but I want to see where the plate takes me. If the plate pans out maybe a lam plate will be born to go with this mold.

As Lammar noted, the venting is on the top half of the mold so any second colors should be done on that side. If any hand pouring gets done, do it in the bottom side.

I'm going to want some solid colors for stuff so I may heat this contraption up yet tonight.

I have big plans for playing  with this mold this weekend. I have one last class to complete grading, and then I'm free! Well almost...baby sitting the Grand Kids Monday - Wed of next week.

I'm going to try red carapace and red top of claws hand pour. Light brown bottom hand pour. And then watermelon brown injection. Looks good in my mind!

It's a stick with arms/claws that resembles a cactus... it usually doesn't get thrown (by the fish) as easily as other baits when using a neko rig because the arms help keep the O-ring from sliding up... I would still lose sinkers unless I glued them in, but this is where your twist in suggestion could really be an improvement to this presentation... it just might be the boss, Hoss.
