The ability to make things other people don't has put a lot more fish on the table. It's a tungsten bead on a size 14 hook with a little feather and the small wax wiggler .

I'd also fish that under a bobber in the summer. Especially early spring when the bluegill spawn!

VERY nice !  I have always wanted to learn how to tie those. I'll have to find a tutorial somewhere on how to tie those.

Same concept but just dump the straight back hackle piece and put a plastic on it.  Hook is a Mustad Classic 3906-B wet fly hook, with a flattened bb sized split shot with Translucent candy teal from Columbia Coatings.  Your hackle is the perfect length.
