Does anyone know how long it takes to get a mold or two from BTSmolds? Ordered mine 2 weeks ago, still haven't heard anything back other than the invoice.

Drove me nuts the first time I dealt with Bob.
3 weeks after order and he didn't answer phone or emails.
I was ready to go to DA and start a 'fraud' claim as I also live in Arizona.
Talked out of it on another forum.
Finally it came. About 30 days after order.
I have since ordered more molds from him as he does do good work and the 3" crayfish, with claw and laminate molds are one of my favorites.
Most manufacturers will have a stock before they take orders.
Bob doesn't seem to have any stock and won't make a mold until he gets an order. Hence you will be put in the 'queue' and when he is ready your mold will be made.
Just the way he does business.
No customer relations at all.

I have several molds from BTS, great molds it does take awhile to get them. He usually sends an email saying it has shipped . Shipping is generally fast but from my experience 1-3 weeks from placing the order until it ships. I would keep an eye on your email.

Thanks for all the replies. I have called several times. I wouldn't be so upset about it if I could at least get an answer and a lead time from him.

Bob, does take a while, and doesn't communicate very well...However, his molds are great!  I have several, and will probably order more soon!  Just be patient, it pays off with Bob!

Great molds if you don't mind waiting a while to get them.

Ordered mine January 28th. No mold or email saying it's shipped. Answering machine full, can't leave a message. Emails not returned.

I ordered a mold 2 weeks ago and nothing but a receipt for the order.  I just called and the answering machine is full.  I was going to get on the forum to ask about it, but apparently, it's been happening pretty frequently.  I wished I had known this before I ordered.

I feel bad for Bob but he needs to offer those waiting a long time for refunds if he hasn't already done so. For us that are only making stuff for us and our friends it isn't a good time having to wait but it isn't hurting too much. For those that actually have a business making tackle and supplying shops, well you have money spent that isn't doing anything and it may end up hurting if someone else takes over some of your clients as you don't have the molds to produce the extra inventory you need or the type of bait that is being asked for. The fair and right thing to do would be to offer a refund to allow the customer to find an alternative somewhere else, simply putting a message on your website isn't helping those who may have money invested that needs to be turned over to keep in business. I apologize for sounding a bit harsh but I'm no stranger to health issues and I know of someone who lost business over a similar issue and if Bob is offering a refund to those waiting then I applaud him for making the right decision but if all he is offering is message that you have to wait for an undisclosed amount of time, well then if I was a customer I would not be too happy even knowing he is sick, it isn't personal, it is a business regardless how big or small.

You can get your money back from paypal or your credit card.  He's been prescribed bed rest, he's not going to be doing the books.  I'm sure he feels worse about it than you do but life happens.
