The airbrushing continues
« on: 01/09/17 21:09 UTC »
So, I have had some more time to practice, got my hands on some stencils and have experimented with some different patters and layering colors.  All in all I am really enjoying airbrushing these lures.  It's a lot of fun with the added benefit of not having to be in the cold garage!

Awesome colors can see your wrist in a brace after the first cast with any of them.
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

Tossed one today for the first time while making sure my new units and transducers worked. Third cast and I caught a good one, I'll have to post a picture later. In 20 minutes I boated 4 on the red one with the purple back. Needless to say I was very pleasantly surprised!

The stencils I got from a guy on eBay. Look up Luckycastlures, his name is Ray. Awesome guy and his work is phenomenal.

This was the first of 4 to get a nice trip into the boat on this bait.

I knew I was in the right type of area when I started seeing stuff like this on my unit.  I tried a drop shot on the deeper fish but they wouldn't commit so I went to a nearby rocky bank and started catching them.
