.....to find a 1.5" Thump-It.

Our crappie bite is picking up now even with the Mickey Mouse weather we've seen. I did well yesterday and went back this morning for another go-round. I actually had almost 2 hours of fishing time before the wind turned a corner and made my fishing life miserable.
The general size of the crappies is getting better now. Today I caught a 6" walleye from a walleye-sterile lake except for some that were stocked for put and take fishing several years ago. Either they stocked again and did not make it public or those little buggers are getting it on where they were said the wouldn't. lol
That blue Thump-It is sporting a chartreuse tail. You can see the blue thru the mouth parts.
Man, the fish were down there today. Like 8 feet down in 12 feet of water. There's a ledge at around 9 feet where they were hitting today but nothing was higher in the water column than 8 feet. Strange. Yesterday they hung at 7 feet.
