Shrimp Jig
« on: 08/02/16 14:07 UTC »
My first post here and I do like this site. I fish flats, surf and inshore and target Pompano, Specks, Reds and Flounder. I have been using hand ties exclusively for a few years now except for soft plastic shrimp style baits for inshore. I have been attempting to tie a good inshore shrimp impression for a few months and this is my latest version. 1/8, 3/0 long shank Owner, plastic eyes painted black, Estaz Grande, saddle and grizzly hackle and mirror flash.

That's really cool. I think with a little different colors I could do well on smallies with that.

Rabbit works nicely for a tail. I am working on a few natural colors.

Very nice! Is that a glow in the dark red paint on the jig head?
