Powder painting pony head jigs

those round head jigs how do you guys get those to attach swivels? was the mold its self modified ?those look really really good . I would like to do something like that. I started out making jigs last year and really liking making them.

I'm pretty sure thats a modded mold for the swivel. I have an ultra minnow modified like that that works awesome as well.

Those are a pill head with the spinner attachment on them. A good jig for putting eyes on.

yeah i just ordered the aspirin head jig but thinking about the jacobsbaits for sure.  I just ordered the pony head jig that uses 570 /575 hooks that make 1/32 up to 3/8 any idea what size blades would be good ?thanks

If you're powder painting you can use CS paint pens then do a powder paint clear coat


or carefully file off the small lead eye bump making a flat spot, powder paint and then use 3-D eyes on them,  you can tie them or use plastics

Yeah I powder paint.  Now should I paint it my color then add the eye using the marker then reheat the jig again to powder coat in clear coat and then bake? Thanks  and those are some nice looking jigs you have there. I would post a picture of what ive got set up but im not sure how to do that. Thanks

That's exactly what you do Shaunm.  A buddy told me about the pens and I picked em up to try them out.
