String glitter please
« on: 04/19/17 22:52 UTC »
Where is the best place to find string glitter? I have found some online at different sites but I'm not sure if the products I found will hold up to the heat... and some I found would be one heck of a spark show in the microwave!! :o

String glitters found at any site that sells soft plastic injection components should be compatible for you. Most all glitters sold that have a metal base will indicate such and those are probably not a good idea if you cook with a microwave but would be ok with pot cooking. On really small baits or those with very narrow appendages string glitter might not be the best fit. Transparent baits using string glitter can be outstanding in visuals.

Thanks for the info guys! I was a bit confused on where and what to buy after reading some negative post on this stuff being purchased from bulk suppliers. I would assume buying from our normal suppliers have been tested before they were put up for sale where bulk suppliers sale it for many other crafts not under extreme heat.

I use the .125x.0125 from LureCraft for production use and have not had any of it bleed or curl.  Even on reheats.  FYI
