Wondering what guys are shooting them in? Medium, medium-soft blend, soft?

I shot my first 200 in medium and they seem to be pretty tough but still swim fine. Haven't fished one yet but give me an hour or 2!!!!

Just wondering if anyone else can chime in on this. I know Jason is CCM medium...

I am using medium-soft to soft - still experimenting.  I love this bait - very versatile.

Thanks! Still looking at the packaging also. If you put more than 5 you can stop the baits from moving but my big distributor told me they will sell 10:1 if packaged in a clam shell box. Gotta catch their eye he says in the store. I am going with the clams myself.

Little more but may be worth it. Cost can be passed along as well.

REGULAR / MEDIUM!!!   ;D

Jim knows me to well.  That is my answer to everything.  Seriously, I do my best to make the molds work with Regular, knowing most like them softer or harder.  I figure if I can get it really close with regular it should make tweaking it a little either way easier for you.  Hopefully I'm close most of the time.

www.andex.com. I have the models I use on the shop computer. Be glad to post or PM. Case of 600t is around $90 + freight as best I can remember. Case is minimum.

I made a bunch from CCM Medium...and the sure look good through a hole in the ice! (I can see them on my underwater camera setup).

I would imagine they would do even better in "soft water"!!!

FYI...I did manage to catch two pretty nice (about 3 lb) bass through the ice on the 3.5 Swim Shad the other day. I had a nice Northern Pike hit it...but I managed to miss her somehow.

Jim, I am putting them in clams as well.  Even outside the selling point- I just do not like how they look in a bag.  This bait is one of my favorites so far, Jason.

I did shoot some soft before going to medium, and in CCM soft they are not durable enough in my opinion.  The action in medium is just right in my opinion.

Quote from Ghostbaits  --- "My big distributor told me they will sell 10:1 if packaged in a clam shell box." ---  It is a poor sign of the times when the packaging is way more important than the product.  On a side note of confirmation -- I have read where a lipstick tube and package costs more than the lipstick.

In his defense, I can post a picture of each package option. No doubt he is right. Does suck though as the clams are far more than the bags.

My concern was the tails getting bent and the baits not swimming correctly. Swims just need a box in my mind.

Jann's will sell you .14 a piece @ 1,000 units.  In my opinion, that's a very good price for the quality and versatility of these baits. (read- right price to charge)  ;)

Quality and versatility of course being something we've all agreed on thus far.

Shawn:

Did you talk with someone about that pricing I can call? On their site, 100 is 26 so .26 each. I already deal with Mann's as well but have not had any luck getting them to come off their advertised prices that much.

Thanks!!!

To you swim shad experts.  How many swim shad molds can be injected with a 4 oz. injector?   Or -  how many can be injected with a Basstackle Twinjector?    Thanks.
