Jeff,
Sorry for this late reply. The Scents do not have amino acids added to them.

Muskygary, As for what scents I use: Any creature baits or jig trailers ( Hawg Sauce or Mega Hawg ) for drop shot baits and wacky rigs ( Toad Magnet, Coffee Shad ) for flukes, sluggo's ( Menhaden Shad or Grape Shad. Many anglers go with what they have confidence in. I have tons of guys who use garlic based scents because they have incredible confidence using garlic. My personal favorite is Coffee Shad...it just puts fish in the boat plain and simple!

News for 2014. We are launching a new scent called CHERRY BOMB. It has three scents combined: Garlic-Anise and a hint of Cherry. This stuff smells awesome!!  I am testing it now and would love for a few guys down in the South or West to try it for feedback.  So far so good. Been using it on drop-shots and Texas rigs with very good results. I will send the bottle free of charge...Just looking for some pics and video clips for the launch of it in Feb. 2014. Our season is slowing down up here as Winter is around the corner. Send me an e-mail if interested: duernberger@sbcglobal.net
Thanks
Doug

I've always been out on the fence with scents but have finally caved in to trying this new product. I arrived in the mail today and the first thing I noticed was that the mailing package didn't smell. lol
I ordered some plastics a long time ago that arrived wearing copious amounts of garlic oil that I could smell before I got to the mail box.

In honesty, this scent from Upperhands isn't offensive in the least and I'll pick up a box to carry the scented baits. The instructions are very clear so I'll get some baits soaking yet today and give them a try next week....my plans to fish are still intact if Mother Nature doesn't pull a fast one on me.

Since we're dealing with hot stuff here, I'll ask if this particular scent is compatable with hot plastic in case I want to try cooking some into baits to try?

Tom I cook all my upper hand scents in my plastic.  As long as it oil based it can be cooked in.
