Thanks much for the compliments! The core is actually real simple with this mold.
Step one is to pour the belly color, in this case, the same as the top color. Allow the belly color to cool well.
Step to is to heat your core color, but not extremely hot. You are looking to be able to pour out a "blob" of plastic versus a stream.
Step three, pour the core color into the depression area left from the cooled belly color. Pour slow and get a blob.
Step four is to allow the core color to cool well and close your mold.
Step five is to inject you top color, in this case, the same as the bottom color. Allow to cool and open the mold.
Final step is to add your eyes and dip the body up to the legs in clear plastic. Drop your "dipped" frog in some water and you are finished.
Pretty easy to do. I like the top and bottom colors the same to demonstrate the core however I have played with other colors now and will post pics soon. Only limited by your imagination as to what you can come up with. Of course, transluscent colors work best with opaque colors not showing the core well.
