Crappie Jig Swap
« on: 01/23/12 17:58 UTC »
How many would be interested in a crappie jig swap???  There have been many bass swaps in the past but none for crappie, unless I slept through it!

My thoughts were each person send five dozen jigs (one unit) total of five different colors per person signed up.  You can mix different style of baits.  If there is interest I'll volunteer to be the middle man, mail to me  and I'll sort and remail to everybody.

Are you talking about 60 CCM plastic crappie baits ( no heads / hooks ); or 60 Tied Crappie jigs ( Marabou / kiptail, etc. ) ?

I mean 60 plastic baits, no heads, no hooks - couldn't imagine how long it would take to tie up five dz.

Five dozn. crappie jigs, nothing extra fancy, 5 - 6  hours.  I am not that good; or fast.  Many are a lot faster; and better.

Maybe we should make it 3 dozen!  Didn't completley think through how long it would take to make up that many.

Five dozen plastic crappie baits is not a big deal at all I don't think.

Jason offers sample packs for you to look at the physical aspects of the baits.  Then go to the forum & Gallery and get a feel for the colors; as there are a lot of really good posts.
