At last check before all this food of the season came around I was down 37 pounds. Last night I had put 4 back on but am right back on my mission's agenda today. Carole loves her French fries whether sweet potato or regular potatoes. I'll fix them but she gets the lion's share. I had about 15 of those in the picture last night.
I am hoping to shed another 30 by June aware that the first half of my overall target would be the easiest to take off. Ideally I'd like to get to 200 pounds. I started this at 267 by the way. I started my deer hunting beard when I started the mission to lose weight seriously, right around the first of October. I shaved it off last night and darned near fell over looking in the mirror. Carole says I look gaunt. lol Its odd the places one can shed weight and not realize how much it can affect the way we look. I can take my jeans off right now without unbuckling the belt, unsnapping or unzipping. They'll slide right down if I pull the tucked shirts out. I've punched two new holes in the current bely but am waiting until I level the weight lose out to but a new leather one....along with some new jeans.
I notice the weight lose when we are walking. When I am exercising like in shoveling snow I notice it as well, especially in my lung function and that's what prompted the weight lose in the first place. I haven't really changed what I eat, but have radically changed how MUCH I eat and have really cut the soda down now to maybe one every three days. I drink upwards of two gallons of water thru the day. I'll be seeing the doc again at the end of February and he'll make sure things are the way they're supposed to be. I'm enjoying the lighter me right now and hope to enjoy a lighter yet me this summer.
