Hi Mick,
I use soft plastic paint from Lurecraft. They now offer 15 colors. I use it with a spotmaker dropper to highlight things such as eyes or make spots on plastic baits.

on those plastics from LC,

does anyone have experience with them? I have two questions,

1. Do they wash off easily from a day of fishing?

2. when you bag them with other baits do they bleed?

Thanks,
brian

The paint does do not wash off - and I can't get it to rub off either.  The paint is difficult to clean out of an airbrush if you let the paint set up.  The paint does not bleed when fully dried. At least the two I have tried from Lurecraft.  Dipped or undipped; after curing.

I have found that the paint adheres best if you use it close to after you make the baits. Seems the longer you wait, the less it ahderes.

Still is very hard to get off once on.

You can dip them but it depends on the bait. Dipping some will alter or dstroy the action.

Listen to the Ghost.   Where the dip is done and how thick has a lot to do with it; but you are, in a way, creating a "new bait" when you dip one.  There are tube bait spindles where you can create a tube bait by just dipping a shaped rod in heated plastic; then slice the skirt.
