I just got off the phone with Denny and Rosemary. What a character.
Denny and Rosemary both contracted COVID but came thru it without much of any complications. As many recall Denny has had some serious health issues for the last six or seven years, some with his heart and others regarding his memory. Rosemary said that the covid caused a bit more memory loss but in speaking with him I can't say that I noticed it much. He and I talked about the plastic injection and jig making. He asked a lot of questions about this site and Do-It and the crew of us from the first Get-together of which he was a key figure. In this area he's sharp as a tack. Things that have happened since he had his lapse of health are a bit less clear for him so we talked a bunch about that get-together and the people who were in attendance to it. He brought up things that I'd forgotten about lol. Same old Denny. He did boast about becoming a great-grandfather....Rosemary and he are just plain super proud of their great grand-daughter so I told him we're all happy for them.
Denny said to say "Hi" to all of you guys on the site here, so I am conveying that now.
When I called I needed to weed thru 4 different numbers I had for them and the last number got them. Rosemary said that his memory was bad enough that the other numbers needed to be canceled as Denny couldn't recall who he'd just called. Sad. But at least I still have contact and I told him before cutting off the call that I'd be in touch again in another month or two and he was happy with that.
