The Lake Trout and coho have finally moved into the waters off the breakwater in Two Harbors. I managed a nice 3 pounder on Thursday, had another on that came off and had a follow by Laker that would have been more than picture worthy at an estimated 35". Its crazy how those large fish will chase a lure from 75 feet of water right to the surface and then swing back to hit at the lure 3,4,5 times before taking the dive again. When a follow is seen I like to do the figure 8 thing. About 50% of the time the fish connects but man is that hard on tackle if its a large fish.
