X2 on the gloves.   I didn't listen now i have two nice scares on my fingers and hand.   I used to change spark plugs on racecars between heat race and feature with no problem.  I thought  i could handle the heat of anything.   I handled it alright!!!
 
I wear the thin gloves Jason sells. very nice to work in.

Good luck, and like they said make sure to wear your protection. I think all of us have had a mishap  at one time and know the pain. Have fun with it and you are now an addict,a plastic user. lol
