Denny.....I think with the pro series of molds now available, this biggie is designed more to accomodate them. I could sure use the extra pressue in a couple of the real small ice plastics I make though.  :D

Ditto re the 3s.  I'm intrigued, though, about CCM's new 9.5 injector.  I keep imagining injector "fights" similar to the kids' water gun fights.

It can double as a weapon...

The 6 oz. injector I have is just over 16" from nozzle tip to compressed handle, almost 26" inches fully extended.  The 3 oz. is aprox. 13" compressed and 18" extended.

Our 9.5oz is under 12" from nozzle tip to compressed handle, 18.5" inches fully extended.

I can certainly see the value in a 9.5 injector for the production molds, Tom.  I think it would also be sweet for us smaller guys to be able to shoot a number of different molds quickly and with much less waste.  I don't know about you, though, when you're pouring all those tiny baits.
Until next time.

When I am shooting my small stuff I'm not in a rush, Denny.  I like to have tight control over what I am doing and I watch things like a hawk. I thnk I have clamped three molds together for a few shots twice and just didn't feel like I wanted to have to keep up that pace so I shoot one mold at a time, lay the new plastic out and starighten things for curing, then re-clamp and shoot again. I'm prone to listening to some good old rock and roll while I work....Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, The Who, The Doors. Thats serious mood music and my plastic shooting reflects it. I know its nuts but I listen to country while I am casting jigheads. Can't say why....just is. lol

Sounds like we work the same way.  I'm more into Etta James, Diana Krall, B.B. King, Imus I and II compilations and the like.  For Gary's sake maybe we could throw in a little Neville Brand as well.
Until next time.

Ay, roger on'nat!  It's either Lecrae or Trip Lee, Randy Travis "Rise and Shine" album, some of the finest Cajun music ever produced, Aaron Neville, or a select few other Christian Artists, in my shop...sometimes a little Buju Banton "Inna Heights" album too...or K-Love.  Long Live The KING!  Make a Joyful Noise...

Randy has some awesome music. I can listen to him anytime and love it.

Quite honestly a lot of the old rock that I love isn't loved so much for the music part as it is because it reminds me of where I have been. The  late 50's, and 60's were hard on me. I saw several friends leave and not come back. And then all the crap I got into during that era. WOW, I wonder at times why I am alive today. For me this old music is a matter of perception.....I don't see [hear] it in the same light as I did back then. Years ago it was rebellion. Today its how and why the rebellion took place.

I had a friend for years that owned an archery shop that was run out of his basement. He had two sons, who like him, loved to pick some gospel music. Old Kenny played the guitar and banjo while one son played the guitar and the other a banjo. I can still hear in mymind three sons these guys did one night : amazing grace, america the beautiful and our national anthem. I'll fly away is right up there too.

Now how did we get from laminated baits to music? Man....sorry for the hi jack job here.
