I love them all, but especially the last one.
Until next time.

Thanks Denny.  The last one was inspired by a buddy who has fished tournaments for years.  Me and him were riding together to a tournament meeting one day. And he was describing his best jig skirt. He makes his own too.  So I stole it. Ha ha.
One thing I learn in racing was when the old guys that are fast talk shut up and listen.

Very nice!!!!! Is that a Gamakatsu 2014 or 2034 jig hook? The color combinations are, what I consider to be, perfect!! You have just the right amount of base and accent color, great work!!!!

those are eagles lazer points.  Trying them out to see if they are good hooks.  I hate paying big money for personal use.  But I sell some with gama and owners because guys will only throw those.

I use the Eagle Claw L111BP, the new black platinum hooks are pretty awesome if I say so myself. I've been using them in shaky heads and regular jigs as well as football heads, the EWG hook holds and is nasty sharp. BTW, I gave a friend of mine that I made jigs for one of my jigs with that hook, he only used Gamakatsu but I so impressed with it that I gave him one to try for free. After he used it for a week I get a call and he tells me he wants that hook in all his jigs, when I told him it was the new Eagle Claw hooks he called me a few bad names, hung up and didn't talk to me for a year. He has now come around but he was mad because he could not believe there was a super sharp hook that didn't cost a lot, he just couldn't justify what he paid for hooks and here was a good hook that worked well, he didn't lose a fish in 3 days using it but he uses the new EC in his shaky heads and regular flipping jig since he found out. I still don't like the old bronze EC hooks but the new black platinum or black pearl, depending on where you get them, are really good hooks at any price, I'm glad to see you using them. BTW, does the very last jig have some purple in it? It sure looks like it and that little bit of contrast really made a difference for me 1 day, and because of it, (here is a tip) when I make a jig say, green pumpkin, I'll make another green pumpkin but I'll add maybe 3 to 7 strands, depending on the size of the jig, of a contrasting color or an accent color.

Yes it has purple in it.  I love purple in my GP plastic or jigs.
Thanks for the hook update. I maybe switching over to them my self. In all my jigs too.  Next will be my shaky head.
