what really happen at Do-It.....
« on: 01/26/14 14:28 UTC »
Now its time  for the real story......
Drew was 24 hours late to my house because his wife had his leash on him and it took longer than he expected to chew through. Spending six hours locked in a Suv with Drew will sent anyone into a post traumatic stress situation. He kept sticking his head out the window like a dog and flashing the truckers trying to get them to honk.
We finally got there and went to the bar to try to drown the image of Drew shirtless. We walk in and I thought Geritol and Viagra were having a time share meeting at the hotel but not it was just CTOM and crew.  The Do-It crew was awesome from the get go!  They provided a great dinner and we had some drinks. I will say that PBR was the coldest I have had ever.
My first impression of everyone was... Ctom was the 3 ugliest man I have ever meet and his wife was the prettiest nicest lady you would ever meet. I'm not sure how that worked out but I reckon she felt bad for him kinda like a dog with  mange someone has to take care of him. Jerry has a horrible taste in football teams but all in all a pleasurable person by any account. Denny isn't so bad I was a little pissed when I had to move my truck so his private helicopter could land but for a California lawyer   he had two strikes against him but I could find much else wrong with the guy.
The tour day was amazing all I can say is I'm 100% behind Do-It. they are about to turn the industry on its head! It was great shooting plastic with Matt, Mike and everyone else. I didn't uses Andy 's thermometer just for spite  :P I hope a new crappie mold will result in the get together  :P
The return trip was great Drew treated me to a move and we hit the Bass Pro. I got a smoking deal on a carrot stix and Drew picked up an awesome Duckett Ghost. We got home saturday , it was great to see the family and sleep in my own bed. It was a great time truly tanks you to Ryan, Jerry, Jason and the rest of the Do-It crew. I'm sure we all made friend ships that will last a life time.
PS I heard there is a shortage on K Swiss chartreuse tennis shoes  :P they were a BIG hit

There was a rumor floating around that Drew did stop on a hitch-hiker and stole his shirt so he'd have one and you took his new green shoes. Couple of nice guys.

In spite of a few minor defects some of us older guys noticed about you two, it was great to meet you finally. Next year we'll schedule events like this when its cold out so Denny can get his facts clear.

Terry It was great to meet you and Drew. I really liked that crappie bait and hope someone will Do-It.  The fast shoes were a hit. I think that DO-IT has use all hook line and sinker after the awesome time that was had by all. Thanks to all the people at Do-It. Mike 8)
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

I've spent the last hour trying to catch up reading. I am finally home. As some of you know, my water main exploded while I was away. It is now fixed, the truck is unloaded and it's time to relax. I had an amazing trip. Putting wonderful ideas and amazing people under the same roof can prove to be dangerous.  I enjoyed speaking with all of you and can't wait for round 2!
