Fun in the Shop
« on: 03/07/14 18:45 UTC »
I had some fun last night in the shop.  These are currently headed to Baffin Bay in southern Texas. My buddy wanted something to catch some monster trout. Hopefully I will have pics to add from his trip as well.

Hopefully this works. First time posting pics on my iPad.

Those are very nice. Do you mind sharing the recipe for the top bait? That one i can see working well. It's different in a good way

The top bait belly was some white that I had that I converted to that bright yellow. It took around 8-12 drops of X2 chartreuse to get it that color but you can dial it in as you wish. The back bone is clear with large black flake and .015 lime flake. Add to your taste but I used a healthy does. I also shot some in just that color that came out extremely awesome. Unfortunately the site said it was an invalid photo file so I couldn't load it.  Hope this helps.

Really good looking baits.  I think the top one is an A+ frog color.
