I've been using small amounts of Glow Powder as colorant lately, not trying to make the bait Glow. These small amounts of Glow Powder add "clouding" similar to that of salt, but without the bait weakening like salt does.

Im with Bill on this one.. the first pic appears to be a roboworm and is a 3 color lam. the second pic is not the same worm and I think school master has a pretty good recipe.
