Swim Shad Question
« on: 06/11/14 13:43 UTC »
Does anyone know if the tails on the 3.5" and 4.5" swim shad the same size?  Also can anyone tell me how much action is on the regular tail to see if its comparable to the thin tail.  I know the thin one will have more but wanted to know if it was close. I have the thin tail in the 4.5 and its an incredible lure for redfish but it seems that after every fish caught the tail is getting ripped off. I am thinking of getting the pro mold 3.5 and was gonna go with the regular tail if its close.  Any help or comments will be appreciated.

Also, and I know ive said it before but we need a tail mold for this mold.

The tails are not the same size.  Action can be effected by plastic hardness and retrieve speed as well as tail thickness.

I have both in regular tail...and shoot them with Do-it Medium with no complaints on the action. Walleyes really like that bait!
