which plastic to use for shads ?

have a few shad moulds and have made some lures using medium plastic /some soft plastic and i find that none of the tails are wiggling on retrieve should i be switching to a super soft plastic at the moment im using plastic from lure factors in the uk as its near my country ,the moulds are professionally made and are similar to the savage eels its driving me crackers trying to sort this not to mention the waste of plastic all help appreciated,should i switch to ccm plastic ? and which one should i buy to get my shads to move on retrieve

A softer plastic will make a difference but may not be very durable.  I use medium plastic and they do Great. But may not be what your looking first. Might try a mix of medium and soft together to give more action and little tougher than soft by itself.

ive tried both shane and i get no movement in either are u  using ccm plastic ? which should i invest in?

It's all a preference really. I really like lurecraft and MF the best. But baitjunkys plastic is good as well. Don't think you will go wrong with any of those. Where are you located?. Is this mold a proven good design? Are you sure it not the bait?

to be honest im now questioning the mould as everyone seems to be using medium with no problems but when i put them up against retail eels they look the same with same angle but im going to look up the plastic you have advised tks buddy oh im in ireland and fish for sea bass

Is you tail thicker then the retail ones?

it seems everything is the same just cant figure it out why the tails dont move on retrieve
