They are not discontinued, except for copperhead (I don't remember carrying that one).  They are out of stock.  More is coming and they will be added back to the site as they arrive.  This keeps you from buying a colorant that isn't currently available.   ;)

Those non X2 colours were just re-labeled MF Manufacturing colourants.

Jerry, is there a way for your cart software to show a product as sold out and not addable to the cart?  Or is that not possible with how the colorants are set up in a drop down menu?  Just noticing it looks like a lot of colors are missing from the menu.

They are missing from the drop-down because they currently are not in stock...Do-It is out of product until their order arrives. As soon as Do-It has the product in hand they put it back on the list in the drop down. This just keeps product that's not on hand being sold and creating a backlog of back-orders.

Yeah I get that Tom, it's been that way since Jason started the business so we're used to it.  But how often do we see this question of missing colors come up? Just curious if there is another option in their software.  Most carts allow sold out products to be shown and tagged as sold out. Some software allows it w/ dropdowns some doesn't. Not a huge deal if only 1 or 2 colors are missing but it looks like several are sold out. If, as a new customer, I came to the site and didn't see popular colors listed I may just discount them as not having a good selection.

Ok. I mis-interpreted your question big guy.I can see that happening if a product is simply not there.

I think the product would have to manually be listed as sold out or whatever. Denny doesn't do much around here so he'd be a good one to handle that job, eh? At least we'd know he's still with us without having to hear about his tough tanned skin from too much sun.

No problem Tom.

I think that's a good job for Denny as well, anything to keep him out of trouble.  I can't say much about his tanned skin.  It's spring production time in the greenhouse so i probably have a worse farmer tan than about anyone else here right now.
